Ordered 2 of these vents and one had the normal scored, use your fingers to tighten type ring. the other had huge Lock Nut, threaded onto the bottom of the vent, which I tried to tighten w an allen wrench, and it would not budge .It's wrong size or thread , on top of not the original standard ring. Called DF and got , we don't have the proper rings, so they come w that big huge nut now. That would kinda be ok,(not Really) but nut supplied does not fit shaft, so useless. Suggest someone at DF try to tighten one these big nuts, it won't thread while in my hands, never mind installing it in drum.. So now its return or go to hardware store.. Been ordering parts from DF for years, never had an issue , but this is all wrong and not acceptable, as well as answer I got on phone, no solution ,send them back, Just send me a ring that works, or warn people before ordering them .buy your own rings, cause we don't have them, and ones we supply don't work....Expected more from DF staff .
