Suggest you not waste money on these. First, when the foot is changed to have the spur protrude, the tip is an incredible 1/2" away from the bottom of the rubber foot. There is no way to change the length of the tip to go into the carpet. Second, the spike is totally flattened at its edge (no sharp tip), so the spur freely slides across the carpet - as will your bass drum.
