Insanely good lugs that are thoughtfully designed, tastefully styled, and professionally executed.
I ordered 20 lugs along with grommets. The extra grommets weren't needed and too thick ~2mm for my shell and hoop combination. Luckily each lug is individually packaged and come with two thin (~1mm) grommets per sealed pack. Using the included grommets, my hoop aligned to the lug threads perfectly. The bottom of the lug (where it attaches to the shell) is concave creating a cavity between the edge of the lug foot and standoff. During installation the grommet deforms into this cavity and follows the contour of the shell.
Being a single sided lug the non threaded side is flat you can't see the tube at all. The chrome finish is shiny, smooth and consistent (no flaking during install) comparable to the finish of my Tama SLP Studio Maple lugs. The shape and extra bulk of these tube lugs look great with die cast hoops. Additionally, these lugs are brass which isn't mentioned in the description. They are solid and hefty.
Used them to retrofit an old Taye Studio Birch snare 7"x14" (good shell junk hardware) with 26mm spacing. Hoops used Gibraltar diecast batter and Ludwig snare side diecast 10 hole. Sorry for the wall of text but I'm extremely happy with this purchase!
