I recently purchased these for a Rogers set I was given that needed some work. I actually used this on the small tom and the floor tom of an early 60's Holiday kit with the typical cracking lugs. I only used them on the batter side so you can't see the hole on the bottom of the lug. I removed the bottom insert so you can't see it sticking down. These are well crafted and a very affordable way to keep your drums playable. If anyone decides to do as I have done, don't forget to remove the fur rel from the bottom hole on the drum where the lug will go. Thanks dFd !!!
