The original Tama King Beat wires used in the 1980s (up to 1986) measure 16-1/2" from hole center to hole center.
I don't think these wires will work on those either without widening out the holes by another 1/8" on each side.
The Tama wires in the 1970's might be a different hole spacing than 16-1/2".
