Not the highest end grommet but they get the job done for a good price.
I bought some of these to use on a set of generic shells I rehabbed. These are not as nice as the die cast style. There are pretty thin and just press into the wood.
Upon installation though they fit into the holes very snugly and certainly look better than an empty hole. They give the rewrap job a finished look and serve their intended purpose perfectly. One thing I like about them over a die cast grommet is that there is no threads and nut on the inside of the shell.
If your looking for a grommet to replace some factory sheet metal grommets these should do the trick. If your building a high end drum or kit though you may not be happy with them.
