I thought this strainer would be nice and sturdy, but apparently it bends too easily with a little bit of pressure. I tightened it to a free floating snare drum tension ring and the pressure of the screws (not even that tight) bent the entire strainer, bent the screw inside, and totalled the strainer. I was hoping this strainer wouldn't let me down, but alas it is not strong and sturdy as I wish it would have been.
