The MAG throw-off is on (2) pdp snare drums I own. I recently bought one from dfd to upgrade an older Tama snare. It is the smoothest, easy-to-use throw-off I ever used. There's a reason DW uses the MAG on even their most expensive drums: it's a great design that's built to last.
