These snare attachment strings are nowhere near as good as I had expected. I mean, they're made by Gibraltar, which is supposed to be a top-notch brand of drum gear. These would NOT work well with my Slingerland Sound King snare, and I had to resort back to using the clear PVC tape snare attachments. These DID work okay for my Ludwig snare, but they're still not up to my view of Gibraltar standards. I will no longer be buying these strings, because they're just TOO FLIMSY!!

However, from now on, when I need snare attachment cord I'm gonna go with those individual cord sets by WorldMax for just $1.05 apiece. Those are not only thicker and stiffer, but they work like professional snare cords should. I've got ten of the WorldMax brand cords saved to my wish list, and will order them with my next purchase.
