These are great for the price. They look and work great. But it should be noted that they have the vintage-style springs inside holding the inserts in place. Also I'm guessing they are matches to Gretsch USA style lugs since I don't have any to compare. I bought them to use with Catalina Maple lugs and these are fatter and much better looking than the CMs. Still close enough to use on an extra snare though.
