Very happy how easy it was to convert my floor tom using this kit.You don't have to alter the drum in any way, so just put the legs back and it's a floor tom again. Please note I have a Mapex tom, so I also ordered a Gibraltar SC-LRHS-1 hex rod to easily mount the rack tom.
