This is a good quality item. In addition to fitting on the inside of a 1" tube, it also fits around the outside of a 5/8" tube. This is really handy, because many vintage and lightweight hi hat stands use a 5/8" tube. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only aftermarket hi hat seat that will fit a 5/8" tube.
The tilt mechanism is a little wonky. When you turn the angle adjustment screw, it actually raises and lowers the seat on the opposite side of the screw. It works fine, it just takes some getting used to.
